Why Do I Need a Lawyer?

Technically you can represent yourself.   However, statistics show that you have much better chance of winning if you are represented by an attorney.

Why Dale Robbins, M.D., J.D. Should Be Your Lawyer?

25+ experience as an lawyer, 10 years as a staff attorney with Social Security and a Medical Doctor who has appealed cases to both the Montana Supreme Court and U.S. Supreme Court.

How Much Is This Going To Cost?

Dr. Robbins will meet with you personally for free and answer all your questions.   If your case is accepted, the fee will based on the amount recovered. In Social Security cases this is 25% of your past due benefits up to a maximum of $6,000.00, whichever is less, if found disabled, otherwise you pay nothing.

How Long Will It Take to Get Social Security Benefits?

Generally cases are denied the first time you apply and even after you file your request for reconsideration.   You will likely have to file an appeal before an Administrative Law Judge and that is generally 14 months after you filed your initial application.

Why Was Someone Else Approved and I Was Denied?

Every case is different -- age, education, past work experience, medical conditions and resulting limitations are all a factor.   That's why most cases require a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge and why having an experienced lawyer, like

Dr. Robbins, is so important.
